Hi lloyd6770,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. It sounds like you are using the correct driver. Since the same document prints correctly using a different driver then I agree it must be the driver. Have you tried deleting the old drivers and installing the new driver "clean" with out other drivers on your system? I would suggest uninstalling old drivers for the Xerox 6204 Printer and then reinstall the x64 driver. Please let us know if this solves the problem, if not you might consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I have finished installing the 6204 on a x64 machine, but the print quality is questionable. I am trying to print a PDF of a diagram of a database I'm building, and when I print the diagram from my machine, some of the tables have lines in them, some of the table titles look like a small white box was printed over the name, etc. Overall, it is readable, but I'd like it to print with better quality.
I emailed the PDF to myself so I can pull it up on a x32 machine. I printed it from there, and it printed flawlessly, which leads me to believe there is something with the x64 print driver that is bad/wrong/etc. The driver I used was the HPGL2 x64 6000L from version 15.0.5 signed drivers. That is the latest driver I could find. I tried using 14.0.4 drivers as well, but nothing would print out at all from there.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
