Dear All,
I have the same problem in Xerox Workcenter 6015 NI. I take a long time in discovering the problem. The problem will happen when you are using a POE switches. You need to switch off the POE feature on the port which used by the printer.
You can switch off the POE by using the smartport feature. You just need to configure the port like a computer which doesn't require a POE feasture.
Thanks
Hi
Did you ever get this resolved. I am having the same issues.
Thanks
Hi
I know this post is from July. Has this issue been resolved. I am having the same issues.
Thanks
Hi! I have a similar issue on a customer with one WC3550....
After connect to the network, the MFP "freezes" and it must to be restarted with the patchcord unplugged. I have tried with different patchcords, cables, firmware, etc.
I have changed the machine for a new one and i get the same, but if i test the mfp on my office it works perfect, without troubles. I think that the PoE switches are installed in my customer too, but
Did you resolve this issue? What´s the way? In the same customer there´s a lot of HP´s MFP and printers working without troubles...
regards!
Mariano.
Local service provider reports that problem occures because we're using POE switches.
This sounds funny.
Only PS driver seems to work correct.
PCL5 and PCL6 drivers make printers to hang.
can you try this one?
remove all previous printers :
Hi!
Just bought two Xerox 3550 printers and both have network printing issues.
If I set it as default, Office applications start to hang. (Windows XP, Office 2007)
If it's not default the application hangs when trying to choose this printer.
Sometimes printers doesn't detect network.
Tried different drivers, switches, patch cords, latest firmware etc
Regards, Alex
