To reset requires NVM resets, which cannot be disclosed publically on this forum. Sorry.
Still not working but I'm experiencing other issues I'm dealing with now. Thinking about a factory reset and setting everything up again from the beginning. How would I reset to factory settings? 100% sure I have all of my settings correct as I set the machine up the last time with no issues and I am the one who handles all of the tech things here.
Definitely not the case but I will setup a new email account and try again tomorrow morning. I have read numerous complaints online regarding this issue. With the email account listed now I can use the same settings in outlook and send/receive email no problem. It's only when I add into my machine settings that I get that message. Will update tomorrow.
If all 3 show the same email and the server is reporting that it is an invalid one, I would assume it isn't a properly configured email account, it either is not allowed to relay or is not actually an email account at all.
The only way to be certain what is happening is to do a Wireshark trace.
Sorry for the late reply. So the printing part worked. That's been taken care of, thanks for that. The scan to email still isn't working. There are 3 spots to enter the email address and I have it in all 3 spots. The 2nd picture you have shows 2 locations to enter the email address but that is the same as the first picture I think - the SMTP Server screen. When I go to the Defaults screen under email there is only 1 place to enter email and it is listed there the same as it is under the SMTP screen.
Appreciate the quick reply! I will try this tomorrow morning and will report back.
Switch to the Global print driver and see if you get the option, a lot has changed in the 9 years since the driver you have there was released.
As for the email thing, make sure the email address is the same in all 4 highlighted locations in these screentshots.
CWIS > Properties > Connectivity > Protocols > SMTP Server (These are probably correct already)
and make sure CWIS > Properties > Services > Email > Defaults is the same (probably this is the issue, this field generates when you set up email originally, it doesn't update when you modify it later, no idea why)
Hello. I posted this thread a while back and it helped me get my printer/accounting setup right :)
http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/Xerox-5225-password-for-printing/td-p/187884
Now I'm trying to same exact thing on a couple of additional computers and it's not working. There is nothing that says Accounting. I attached a screenshot of what I see when trying to click on the accounting tab.
I'm also having issues with scan to email. I used to have it working properly. I changed the email account it was using and I know for a fact that all the username/password/server settings are correct and it will not scan to email which is annoying. I keep getting a message "Compleyed with an Error (016-767) : Invalid E-Mail Address.
Please help.
