It looks like duplex mode is enabled by default for our Xerox 5335 printer. Is there a way to change this to single-sided at the admin control panel or must one change every machines driver properties to accomplish this? Thanks for your help.
Any help with this?
Hi!
If you have a print server you could change the default settings and then push the driver out again to all the computers.
If not you'll need to change the default settings on everyones driver.

Can the printer itself act as a print server if it's on the network and has its own IP? Or do we need a seperate server with a certain configuration to act as the print server?
If the former, can I push out the driver from the admin CP on the printer?
Hello, can I get an update on this? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi again!
Sorry for the late answer, the printer cannot act as a server. You will need to use either your current server or a seperate print server.
If you have a server for logins and such you can use the same server for print drivers.

Thanks! How do I push out the print drivers from the server that manages logins?
Hi, blashmet!
You add the printer locally to the server and then share it to the clients, so choose share on network.
Then when you add the printer on the client choose "add a network printer"
If you have a windows server, you can add the printer to the "AD Users and Computers" list - then the clients can choose the printer from a list instead of searching for it.
