So as the "places within an inch those 600 dots can be placed" are more so, I guess that there should be an option for the resolution to be 1200x2400 and not 600x600 as other printers of the family of xerox have...
Welcome to marketing 101:
600 DPI is how many dots can be placed within 1 inch.
1200*2400 DPI has nothing to do with dots, it defines how many places within an inch those 600 dots can be placed.
This is a good reference point that explains in more detail.
I have recently bought a new xerox 6022 printer and I have installed it with its cd as wireless.
Although even if I have installed ALL new drivers:
- Xerox Phaser 6022 Driver Installation Package
it still won't let me print in higher than 600x600 dpi option. In the Control Panel Printer Options, it says Nothing about Quality. In photoshop it says man 600dpi and in windows print (default photo viewer program) it says quality 600x600. Here are a could of ss:

You see? Hope there is an answer, because I have searched a lot and fount nothing. The only reason I bought and paid that much money for just a printer is for the quality. If there is no way to print with that 1200x2400 quality then it is like you tell me I wasted my money.
Thanks a lot and begging for a fast and clear answer reply!
