We had the same issue with our new Windows 8 OS and our old Xerox 510 Wide Format
You must DISABLE the Windows 8 Driver Signature Enforcement to use some of the Xerox drivers.
Do the following:
Windows Key + R (brings up RUN command)
type in shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00
Click OK
Windows will Restart
Select "TROUBLESHOOT"
Select "ADVANCED OPTIONS"
Select "WINDOWS STARTUP SETTINGS"
Click RESTART
System will restart to "Advanced Boot Options" screen
Select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
System will start and you can install your printer with the appropriate driver.
Good Luck!
I have tried checking your online knowledgebase and it has been completely unhelpful, which is why I am here asking for help.

For years we have had a Xerox Wide Format Printer. It was connected by an ethernet cable to our router, and one of our computers acted as a gateway to print through. Unfortunately that computer is dead now, and since I didn't set up the original network I have no idea how to recreate it with another computer. There seem to be compatiblity issues with my computer (Windows 7), but the other computer on the network is still running XP just like the one that died. So, what do I do? Where do I start?
