Hi Joe,

We're having a similar problem to the one you previously gave this solution for (Error 024-747 on Phaser 7100)

We're on macOS with the latest drivers and latest firmware for the printer but still get this error whenever we leave auto-selecting ON for the paper feed...

Is it possible in an easy way to explain what you did to solve the mechanical problem(s)? I have the same error code as you, and have tried a lot different settings without succeeding. First I had troubles with error codes 075-100 and 071-101, which both have to deal with paper feed jam (from bypass tray and tray 1). These error codes could be related to your trouble/solution, so I would be glad to hear how you solved it :-)

It was a mechanical problem with the drive roller blades in the bypass tray and the tray 1, the solution was simply adjust.

Thank you and I understand what you said but the problem is with the printer to the computer without installing just sending print demo page that brings itself gives me that error in both tray. the same goes if I connect to the PC.

In the printer it is well specified that the size of the sheet to print which is 8.5 * 11

It means there is an incorrect parameter in the paper size.

This happens mostly with the wrong print driver in use, or when an application overrides the driver.

So make sure it is the right print driver, and make sure that the Application is not set to an odd size.

The following screenshot is an example of this, with Choose Paper source by pdf page size enabled it will force the printer to print to a paper that equals the document size, often the document size will show an impossible number like 8.5*11.01, and since the .01 is impossible, it will fault the job. My document in the screenshot is a more extreme example though.

Hello I recently bought a Xerox 7100n and try to print your page demo shows me a 024-747 error in the two tray gives me the same error. That is no solution for that error. Well, I download the manual and software posedly error.
