As the printer is asking for letter, it can only mean that it gets the information to use letter from the driver or application.
As it works sometimes, I would suggest you have a look at the settings in word/excel, it's probably the settings in the specific file itself.
So open up a file in word/excel, go to Page Layout, select size and choose A4.
Do the same when in the printing tab, choose A4 as paper size.
The settings in word/excel do overwrite the settings in the driver, which means if a document is set to letter in the Page Layout and/or in the printing tab, the printer will ask for letter.

I have installed WorkCenter 7125 on Print server - windows server 2008R2, Driver PCL 6, v.5221.500.0.0
Users can print PDF file without any problem at any time.
But, sometimes can't pront MS word document (A4) and staus on the printer apperas Tray 5 inncorect paper size, "letter". at the same moment MS excel file prints perfectly. but, after few days users can print MS word (A4) and can't print Excel (A4) and status are same Tray 5 inncorect paper size, "letter".
I have reisntalled driver several times , but still have problem.
Can someone advise what to do next?
