Ok. So, replace the drum cartridges.
Hello, I tried this already before. The cleaner was soiled with blue powder, by my estimation approx. in the same places that match the position of colour (blue) shades on the printed papers. I cleaned it but it did not help, the shades appeared again immediately during the next printing. When I pulled the cleaner out of the device again (after printing one paper) it was soiled again with the blue powder on the same places as before.
Hi Peter,
Before replacing the drums try to take out and to clean the IBT Cleaner (see here how to remove it).
Hi Gabi,
I tried to swap the cartridges (various combinations) and the result is as below (the shades on original paper are yet more visible then on this scanned copy). Basically, the shade extent remains the same but colours change a bit. Would that be solved if I get new drum cartridges or is there any potential problem which I should check before I go for this solution?
Many thanks
Peter
Hi,
You have at least one drum cartridge defective (cyan and yellow). Try to swap the drums between them to see if the problem move also.
Gabi
When I try to print with Xerox WC 7425, the result contains some coloured shades see below. I tried to clean fuser, all drums and lines on output prints but nothing helped. Any idea what should I focus on? Many thanks. Peter
