Xerox 7775 with Light Production Finisher NOT Half Folding Properly

Seriously?!  What do I have to do to get this bi-fold to fold a piece of 8.5 x 11 regular paper in half?  It does the Z-Fold perfectly, but the bi-fold is off by about 3/4"-1".  I've been in the service menu and played with the 0-199 values of the folding, and that changed it some. but not enough.  What else can I do?  I'm not calling a tech.  Period.  End of Story.  So, I'm really looking for some help here with this matter.

0 key for 10 seconds and then Start.  and then 6789, right?  What am I looking for in the menu after that to make these changes?

How do I adjust the position at the device?  It's an inch longer on one side, which means it's half an inch off.  Where would I go to change that in the device?  I do not have service as we just got this printer donated to our Camp.  But, I'm a techie and have set up everything on the deivce.  This one thing is just slowing me down with half fold being half and inch off.

If you have a service plan call a tech but if you do have full access to the device settings then you are able to adjust the position at the device. Although an inch is quite a lot so may not be as simple as I expect.

I just recently acquired a Xerox 7775 with a Light Production Finisher.  When I copy or print a document and tell it to half-fold the document, it folds it.... but not in half.  

It comes out with an inch or so longer on one side.  Any ideas as to what would cause this, or more importantly, how to fix it?  This job is being done on 8.5x11 paper.
