Hello disturbedbumblebee,
Please call into the support department at 1-800-821-2797 for clarification on the image unit yeild. I was only able to find the comsumable yeild article I provided below.
OK. I understand that it calculates with 5% page coverage, and although this is a big scam, because who the hell prints only half a page of text all the time, the question was about the imaging unit and not about the toner. The imaging unit uses the toner powder in the toner, so it doesn't really run out, it just has calculated aging. The difference compared to the promised is almost 2,000 pages, in addition to printing normal text documents, all while the calculated toner consumption is approximately accurate. Please explain to me!
Hello distrubedbumblebee,
The difference would be from the amount of coverage on your page. The numbers in the article are only based on a 5% coverage which is a small portion of the page. If you do more prints that are 1/2 or full page coverage, than that will affect the numbers.
I read the article, but I don't see where it answers the approximate 20% difference.
Hello disturbedbumblebee,
Please take a look at this article that explains our consumable yields and how they are calculated.
