Hi I have the same problem - the printer was working fine, except for not being able to print A4 images, apparently due to not enough memory - I discovered on the forum, then it stopped and having restarted and reconnected everything the MacBook will no longer 'see' the printer. I have removed it from the printer list and now it will not install. Factory resetting the printer is the next option - Weird thing is that it initially refused to print from my iPhone, but will now with an initial warning saying the printer is different to the original one. I looked for this mysterious driver you found but it doesn't appear on my PD list.
Thanks for your reply. I don't have a 'support centre' which is why I ended up here. However, I found out the solution myself. It was a driver issue. There were two printer drivers available in the printer preferences on my MacBook Pro. Naturally enough, I had chosen the Xerox C230 driver, but that was wrong (!!) The name of the correct driver was just a weird collection of letters and numbers. Very strange and very illogical! But anyway, it works now, so if anyone else has this problem, then they might try looking at what driver they have selected.
Hi Robert-W,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. It may be a memory issue. Please take a look at this article from the support pages for your printer. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hi!
I've recently purchased a C230. I can print from my iPad and PC, but my MacBook Pro - after printing the test pages, suddenly won't print any more and submits the following message: 'Krypteringsakkreditiver er utløpt' (encryption credits have run out - or something like that). I have searched the help menu and the help site and therte are NO entries with that phrase. So... Why won’t my C230 accept a print job from my Mac? Anybody?
