Xerox Color 560 Booklet Mixed Color not "pur black"

As you already know, it is not there in the driver so it does not.

You can try changing this option to on in the 560 to see if it changes the output.

I really have doubt on your answer !!

You said : "Neither the Phaser 7760 (desktop printer) nor the WC7765 (Office printer) have the pure black option .."

But, if I told you that my Phaser 7760 GX driver have a pure black option, I really use this option and our 7760 have no fiery installed.

Besides, you didn't answer my question. My question was if the 560 and 7760 has the same option "pure black".

Both are without fiery!

My 7760 work has I want. It prints color with color and detect "RGB" black and white (pixel R, G, and B with same values) to print with black and with counter!

Here is a screen shot to see that I use this option WITHOUT fiery! The driver was downloaded from your support website.

I hope that you will understand that your answer didn't fit me.Because you said something wrong about the driver of 7760.

There is no fiery and it worked like a charm since the 08/06/2008!

I repeat so my question is the 560 got pure black option or black detection like my 7760 WITHOUT fiery?

Is it possible your 7760 was a 7765 with Fiery? Otherwise you are comparing a professional color printer with a desktop model.

Fiery has the pure black option. Workcenter drivers do not.

As you can see here, Pure black is very much an option if you have a Fiery.

Neither the Phaser 7760 (desktop printer) nor the WC7765 (Office printer) have the pure black option in any driver I have installed that is not a Fiery driver (Only available for the 7765, not the 7760)

Hi,

Recently we change our old printer Xerox 7760 to a Xerox 560.

We notice that a bad count of our printed pages when we print booklet.

Indeed, in the 7760's driver, we have a option to print black and white image in "pur black" (not composite color).

Then if we take a look at the counters we got a correct black and white printing count and also for color printing.

If we print the same boolet on the 550, we got all pages count as color!!

We take a look at the driver we can print in only in two ways: color or in black and white!

So there is a way, to fix this inconvenient bug.

Because now, we paid many black and white pages in color and it raises our bills !!
