You can check the yellow cartridge motor in diagnodtic mode in DC330 I/O check (component cotrol) by accessing 093-003.

Please see below comments from a tech;

"Before doing setting the machine (NVM or etc) ensure the dispenser of Y toner is working, or the plug of dispenser is not closed (white). if everything are fine then,
Try to inisialize NVM, I usually use IOT and ISS Inisialized. since that's are controller handling.
Also checked the NVM 761-053, its Pre near empty of Y Toner Treshold. use 0 for the value.

Thanks for your reply Gabi, I thought it was a clog in the yellow paths, developer unit, or damaged chip. when I took the 100% yellow toner out, the weight felt like it was still new. Please is there a way to test the cartridge motor to see if it's defective. Also, are you able to please provide a diagram of where the yellow cartridge motor is located.

Hi,

Our Xerox Color J75 Press showing error code 024-923, yellow toner empty but we just replaced with %100 full toner and printed for about 5 Minutes. I also just replaced with 50% yellow toner and it depleted within 3 minutes after 36 prints of SRA3. Please any ideas how to solve this.
