Paper size is not right with the settings can check paper type and size also check paper tray rollers,edge guides and the if the tray is elevating.

Ok, I took the trey out and nothing appeared broken.

Yes the paper elevates.

The roller that appears above the trey 2, is that supposed to be in the up or down position when closing?

Does it elevate the paper when the tray is closed? It sounds like the paper sensor is damged/unplugged.

Take out the tray and see if anything appear broken.

there is no fault code to be seen on this display

So what is the exact message and fault code associated with it?

I've never seen one display to simply load a tray, it is always "Out of Paper. Load Tray 2 With XX Message" where XX is the specific paper needed in the job that is calling for it.

I am having a problem with the Xerox Color Qube 8570 giving me a notice to load trey 2. The trey is full and I have tried seeting it for different types of paper "light plain paper" for example. I have also tried loading different amounts of paper and nothing seems to work, it is still asking to load trey 2. I've also re set the printer and turned it off and on several times.
