I have since found a detailed fix for this issue if anyone else has this problem: https://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/ColorQube-8570DN-printing-offset/td-p/22381
Thanks for the reply, I did mange to fix it in the end. It was the encoder disc behind the drum cooling fan. It had spots of oil on it and it seems that was causing the problem. I wiped this clean and it has fixed the issue!
Hello tonyrobbo,
There are a few things you can try for the noise issues:
Enable the Sound Reduction Feature
There are a few things to check on for the Blurred Image:
Blurred or Fuzzy Lines, Text or Images IQ11
Hi my Xerox ColorQube 8880 starts to make a dull chugging/knocking sound and then prints blurred printouts. A restart or 2 will eventually correct it for a while, but then it starts to do it again. I have chnaged the printhead, but it made no difference!
Has anybody come across this before?
Thanks
Tony
