Alright will I got one user fixed. After reinstalling the newest driver the user was trying to use saved settings she had created previously. I had her delete those settings and create new ones and it appeared to work.
The other users I've spoke with, haven't reported any issues yet.
Alright the driver got reinstalled, but users are still experiencing the same issue.
That was already disabled.
Also driver never got reinstalled as there are some users who are able use the same printer without any problems.
UPDATE: Those other users are having problems now, working on getting driver reinstalled.
its possiblye a firewall issue that wont let thrue the SNMP traffic...
Its better to disable that , if you go to the properties of the driver , the n options tab , then bidrcetional setup , disable the bottom option about the messages
So at my place of work we had a new network printer installed. As shown in the subject it is a Xerox ColorQube 9203. I have two users who when they print to it, get the message
"Determining printer status, no longer able to communicate. Would you like to wait for the connection to be re-established?" They can either click Wait. or Exit.
Regardless of the error there print jobs go through.
I've deleted and re-added the printer but it didn't help. I've checked the system log on one of the users machines, it only told me that the drivers had been updated.
I don't have the ability to reinstall the drivers but am going to have someone do so and see if that works...but until then any other suggestions?
