“Xerox Features” not showing in Mac print dialog

It sounds like you have the wrong printer selected or you have selected AirPrint for printing. . By default, Apple likes to use it's own drivers for printers, no matter what the user wants and they are actively minimizing the visibility of the driver starting with macOS 12. When you select the printer, make sure that you see a driver number

OS detection doesn't work properly on the support site for Ventura, so that might be your problem. I have installed and used the crrent Xerox drivers on many MacOS 13 systems, but I have also seen a few with issues like yours that I had to correct. Be sure to use the Platform dropdown on the Xerox Support site to select Ventura and download the most recent driver which currently is version 5.11.2(2379). Install the printer using the latest driver and then fully quit and reopen the app that you're trying to pirnt from. That should correct your problem.

This problem just suddenly appeared for me in MacOS Ventura. I have reinstalled the driver, and I'm accessing the printer (add) from a printer plugged into another computer (Bonjour/Shared Printer enabled).

It used to work perfectly. Now I cannot get Xerox Features to show in ANY app (but mostly needed for Adobe InDesign).

Any clues?

However, if you have Catalina, then it is unlikely that your issue is caused by "library validation". Therefore it is probably different from the issue I encountered.

I am not an expert, but using Word is how I was able to access the Xerox features. You can use the Word print dialogs to make some "pre-sets" which will be accessible from any other application print dialogs.

Hi, yes, I've tried printing from various different programs, Apple and non-Apple. Don't have Word but I do have a few things. Still stuck.

Did you try printing with various applications, for example Microsoft Word and Pages? The Xerox options might be available in some applications and not in others.

Hi, I've read this and looked at the Xerox document that's mentioned. I am running Catalina (OSX 10.15.6) and I can't choose the Xerox Features (for a Versalink C400). I installed the Xerox driver in the last couple of weeks so I think it's the latest version.

Any ideas anyone?
