then i sugges to delete the printer aswell the driver files from the print server properties and start over, there must be someting go wrong while installing?

 

tip: disable your antivirus while installing the driver and unpacking the zip

Yeah it's already unticked but we are still gettting the issue...

i dont see the screenshot

 

 

goto properties of your printer , then go to the advaced tab , there should be a tick @ "enable advanced printing features" , untick that :)

Thanks for replying. This is what I have in the advance tab, can you let me know where I can disable advanced printing features? I remember seeing that on the previous versions but can't find it on this new version.

have you tried disabling advanced printing feaures in the driver advanced tab?  Not in the priinting defaults advanced tab :)

Xerox Global Print Driver issue

Hi we just updated the lastest version of Xerox Global print driver (5.182.42.0N 2011.03.02) and encountered a driver error when trying to print or display printer properties:

 

"The Xerox print driver encountered an error while trying to convert to/from the Xerox XML format. There may be illegal data present or the required DTD file may be missing. You may have to reinstall the Xerox print driver. 001:022:3683"

 

All the machines are on XP SP3, and we have tried to uninstall and reintalled the driver with no success. Any body else is having same issue? what can be the cause of the problem?
