Xerox Job Tracker doesn't allow to delete jobs

Product Name: WorkCentre 7830i/7835i/7845i/7855i
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hello,

I´ve got a problem with deleting jobs on a Xerox WorkCentre 7835 (Software: 075.010.030.30710). 

When I print a Job to this devie I can see it on "Active Jobs" in the Xerox Job Tracker, so far so good. But it´s not possible to delete the job there. The button "Delete" is just gray and unavailable. 

I trried different drivers (different versions of GPD and the 7835 v3 driver), PCL6 and PS. I setup new ports (RAW and LPR), tried different printer security settings. Nothing helped.

Does anybody have any hints for me in that issue? Can anybody tell me which network protocoll is used by the Xerox Job Tracker? I guess it´s SNMP, but I am not sure? 

It would be great if someone can help me with that.

Hello Stefan,

When you say Job Tracker, do you mean the Job Queue at the control panel? If so, here is an article with some steps to resolve that issue.

Hello Cathy, 

no I did not meand to delete the jobs at the dispaly or at the webpage that works fine. What I mean is that: 

Unfortunally teh picture I tried to upload is not visible. So I'll try to explain it with words. 

In the printer driver in the lower right corner, there is a button with three dots. If you click that button a new window opens with the devices status. There you can see the active jobs on the device and normally it's possible to delete them, with a click on the "delete" button in teh lower left corner of that window, but unfortunately this button is grayed out.    

Do you have any ideas why that button is gray and not accessible?

Hello Stefan,

Ok I understand better what you mean. Not sure why that is greyed out. Is the device connected with the Xerox Print driver? You could try re-installing the printer with the latest Xerox Print Driver.
