Xerox Phaser 4500 and 4510 toner expiration date and shelf life of these toners

Thank you for using the Support Forum. That is a really good question, I do not know what the shelf is of a toner cartridge.  I would assume if stored properly (not in severe temperatures) that the toner should remain stable.  The date on the cartridge in the manufacture date I believe.  To confirm and ask further questions please contact supplies at 800-822-2200.

I have both Xerox Phaser 4500 and 4510 printers in our schools and the new Xerox brand toners are coming in with very old dates on the toner. So is the date stamed on the box the expiration date or the manufracturing date and what is the shelf life of these toners. Thank you
