We understand that you're furious, but as you said yourself if this is a brand new printer, you do have warranty.
Why complain on a forum about it when you can call Xerox and they will fix it for free?

Ok. I am furious over this. This is a "brand new" printer. Never been in the field. Still in the box. After paying a large amount of money for this printer, I have to pay more because it has a "faulty toner cartridge"? THAT CAME FROM XEROX THAT WAY! So I spend more money on my "brand new printer" for a new toner cartridge. Now it tells me there is a "laser unit fail code U2" ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING? THIS IS A BRAND NEW PRINTER!!!! QUALITY CONTROL MUCH? Any ideas, or let me guess, BUY A NEW LASER UNIT! This is absolutely incredible. Their CEO needs another raise $14 million obviously isn't enough...
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take the cartridge out and gently shake the cartridge side to side, then reinstall. If it continues to give you the message try replacing the cartridge. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I have a brand new Xerox Phaser 4510 printer. We have had it for a while and are just starting to roll it out. It says to "replace print cartridge" on the display. Are you serious? It's brand new! Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
