Hi Kmwa,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please power the machine off and then open the covers and check for any paper in or around the rollers, this could be a small corner of paper.  Close the covers and make sure the close completely.  Power the machine back on.  If the problem continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Xerox Phaser 6010 grinding noise on paper feed

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a grinding noise when the 6010 is feeding paper.

I think this is the paper "pick up", when it's finding the sheet, not when it's printing it.

I just fed a sheet from the manual feed above the tray and it still makes the grinding noise, then selects the single sheet and prints ok.

This is a great little printer, I have hardly used it.
