Cheryl,
Thank you for the response. I ordered a replacement imaging unit, and following the directions that came with it, and installed it in the printer. Unfortunately, I keep getting a message to reseat the imaging unit. I've tried reseating the unit more that a dozen times, and still get the same message. I reinstalled the old imaging unit and got the same message to reseat it. They both seem to fully seat without any issues. I'm gonna keep trying it doesn't look promisng.
Hi rhobson.
Thank you for using the Support Forum. The printer is 19 years old, but I found this post on the forum that might help you with your situation. Please read the post and all the replies to get the full explanation. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Recently, the Phaser 6250DP I had for years stopped printing black characters. I initally thought it could be as a result of an upgrade in Windows 10, or a change in the print driver. But it's not either of these. All colors print except black. I printed a menu map and the print that should have been black were unprinted (they were white in the colored blocks). I installed a new black toner cartridge and the printouts were unchanged. I turned the printer off and on numerous times. I don't see any error codes when the printer is turned on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
