Re: Xerox Phaser 6280 Marks on left side of paper

Your comment appears random in respect to what I posted.

Inspect the transfer unit, if it has the marks, replace it, usually the marks would repeat every 28mm if it is the problem.

Have you looked at the transfer unit? Is it 28mm between the marks or some other number? "The same distance" in no way references the actual space.

Yes it could possibly be the toner, it isn't likely, which is why I didn't focus on it, feel free to just change it and see, I figured you would want to spend the least possible amount at fixing it.

Yes there is the same distance between each mark.
The marks showed up on the first print after putting in the new toner.
Could it possibly be the new toner cartridge?

Xerox Phaser 6280 Marks on left side of paper

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I replace a OEM black toner for my Xerox Phaser 6280.

On the printout there are small marks on the left side of the paper, evenly spaced down the edge of the paper.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks
