Thank you for using the Support Forum. The printer can not automatically recognize the size and type of paper you are using.  WHen you load tray one you would need to specify what type, size, and color of paper has been loaded following the modify the type, color and size paper solution. There is no way to make this a one click process.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

we are using the Xerox Phaser 7800 to print on 6 different sized types of paper - all of them heavy and none of them DIN-normed. The kit for heavy media is attached, and most of the time, printing works fine.
Nevertheless we've got a problem. Printing via tray one - size and weight require tray one - we always have to adjust the medium-size manually. There seems not to be a posibility, to save the medium-size (we allways use one of those six sizes) and use it via one click or even have the printer recognizing it on it self. Before even starting to print, the printer tells me there is a paper jam due to media-size.

Changing the size by hand does take a lot of time.

Could someone help me? Is there any way to automise this process?
