Hi and thanks. I have tried all of those except for the steps that involve the troubleshooting guide. For some reason, when I select troubleshooting on the printer, there are no options (i.e. no smears, lines, etc), it only says "exit."
Hi Joe44,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for blurry prints and see if any of those solutions help. If not please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I have a Xerox Phaser 8560DN. The copies all come out blurry now, some better than others but none of good quality. The print count is only at 3464 copies, which is not that many to be having consistent printing problems. I have cleaned all the pieces I can reach, and the maintenance kit shows 69% life left. It's frustrating given the price of the printer and the cost of the ink. Can anyone help me figure out the steps? The menu on the printer itself has a "troubleshooting" menu, but when I choose it all I get is "exit." I have tried using the Xerox software to attempt a self-clean or something but I cannot find a way to do that. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I don't feel I should have to shell out for a repair this early on.
