Xerox Pull Print Driver - remove options ?

with equitrac you cant use the mobile express driver

its not possible to move options in the driver

but 

if you look at the extraced files (driver) there is a .ppd file

i think you can remove settings and features in that ppd file

install it again

test it on a clean pc with no xerox driver installed

It was almost perfect, but on client, when I choose "Preferences" he starts the find printers app, and I dont' need it.

On our scenario we have Equitrac Express, so I share an Equitrac Print Queue.

So my goal is to share this printer to users whitout give them the possibility to choose Paper (size, color, type and tray).

For exemple, if a user choose bypass tray, because they don't have acces to it, the device wil stop working.

configure the driver and push the settings via group policy don't let my manage Paper (size, color, type and tray).

The perfect solution would be to use Xerox Pull Print Driver, but have the option (configuration settings for exemple) to configure de default Paper (size, color, type and tray) and at same time hide the options from users, or let de administrator select the options available, for exemple let use only A4 and A3 paper, color white and remove the option to selecte any tray

Can this be possible? Can Xerox do this development?

Xerox have lots of Equitrac systems installed so this would be perfect for self-service, avoiding users mistakes

You sound like you just need the Mobile Express driver

If that doesn't work, then you would need to configure the driver (roll your own) and push the settings via group policy.

I would like to use Xerox Pull Print Driver but want to restrict some options.

I have 50 printers (WC7845/WC7345) with only A4 plain white paper, all in self-service.

Users are not able to use Bypass Tray or change paper.

I would like to remove the possibilite to users selecte tray, color, type and size to avoid mistakes.

Is this possible?
