Then call Xerox and get to 2nd level support, they should give you 2 options
1. Discovery (A team will try to fix or at least replicate the issue since I can't in their lab or anywhere else)
2. Analyst onsite (Almost certainly billable as it appears to be environmental)
That did not work for me, same issue. I did find when using the 5955 PCL 6 V4 driver with a manual mapping to the printer on a Win 10 machine, it printed without pause. When I tried to add that driver to the server it did not work. I verfied that the newest PCL6 and GPD are on the server, still it hangs.
I am saying to make your setup match mine if you want the problem to go away.
Enable LPR, disable SNMP and LPR byte counting, disable the enable advanced printing features option.
In short, compare your setup to my pictures, if something other than the name of the driver, the IP address or the port name does not match, change it so it does.
So you are saying to switch from RAW to LPR to fix the issue?
I would assume you would have slow printing if you are not using my corrected settings.
What if we are using RAW 9100 with SNMP on a networked Printer? I have unchecked the advanced printing check box and will have user test.
Disable these 3 things (This applies to every single networked Xerox device)
I have four Xerox WC 5955's that when I print from any program, Ie. Word, Notepad. I get a "Not Responding" on the program fro 30-45 secs, the job then prints. I have had the users print to other than Xerox printers just fine, no stutter. I have tried the newest GPD, the specfic PCL 6 and PS. None of theses seem to fix the issue. Anyone know of further steps to troubleshoot?
