Re: Xerox WorkCenter 3225 plugged in via USB showing up offline

Hi oilsjana,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at this post and see if any of the solutions for USB connection applies in your case.  If that does not help, uninstall the printer and driver, reboot the PC and Printer and then reinstall the driver following the instructions for USB.  If the issue continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Xerox WorkCenter 3225 plugged in via USB showing up offline

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Good morning. I am trying to figure out how to get my Xerox WorkCenter 3225 printer to work again. I had to unplug it from my laptop's docking station and now after getting everything all plugged back in it shows offline. The printer is on and plugged into the USB port.

I looked at checking under configure port to see if SNMP is checked,  but when I get to Printer Properties>Ports>Configure Ports I get an error message:

'An error occureds during configuration. This operation is not supported'.

The printer is on USB 1 Port using Virtual printer port for USB.

My operating system is Windows 7

How do I get my printer to come back online?

Thank you,

J
