Thank You for answers!
We tried that way, then printer uses only bypass tray, when out of paper, printer will not turn automatically to Tray 1.
In the past I have configured a seperate printer and defaulted that printer to use the bypass tray. For example, at several clients they want to print checks from the bypass tray, so I'd create a printer called Check Printer and default that to use the bypass tray as the default output tray.
I think I used the PCL driver but I really start taking notes on these issues.
We have a problem with recently bought Xerox WorkCenter 6605. The problem is with it's bypass tray.
The printer doesn't use automatically Bypass tray when paper is there. Instead, it uses Tray #1.
Bypass tray starts working only when user manually selects it on his pc.
We have configured the printer using it's LCD screen so that the first tray would be Bypass tray,
In computer programs, for example in MS Word, we have adjusted all settings, linked with bypass tray, so that they would be automatic.
We have tried different combinations of settings, different drivers: PCL6, PS, Global Xerox driver,
different pcs, but all of no use.
Still printer doesn't use bypass tray automatically, even when paper is there.
Please help.
