If Publisher is the issue why not simply export the completed job as pdf and print that?
Even their (Microsoft's) Print Feature Program Manager agrees it is needed for advanced printers
Joe:
Sorry but this didn't help. Still got the same printed error message.
I guess I will have to ditch Publisher for this project and tediously recreate it in CorelDraw.
Thanks anyway!
Lisa
Right click the printer and go to Printing Preferences > Advanced > Driver and set the True Type Font to Download as Softfont
I created the new port and printed a simple test page just find. Thought I was good to go.
Opened the original file and tried to print it. It printed this message:
"ERROR: invalidfont
OFFENDING COMMAND: definefont
STACK:
/Font
-dictionary-
/ADCFAA+Montserrat-Regular"
I get the same error when printing from MS Word 365 but it prints just fine from CorelDraw 2018.
More suggestions?
Add another port, make sure it's TCIP and type the ip of the printer in that port.
There are 2 more steps/pictures in that post
Looks like it's already an TCP/IP port...
Open the Windows Control panel and select Devices and printers
Right-click the printer and choose Printer Properties (Not "Properties")
Select the Ports tab. It should not be a WSD port, if it is, you would need to create a new one as TCP/IP. The basic settings are here in the post above

Could you help out an old lady and tell me how I check which port I'm printing to?
Thanks,
Lisa
Make sure you are printing to ip port under ports and not windows WSD protocol
