Re: Xerox Workcenter 7970 Printing Yellow Streaks

The drums are identical. A reboot should clear it unless the drum was physically defective and the removal caused something to actually come loose.

Re: Xerox Workcenter 7970 Printing Yellow Streaks

Hey Joe,

Thank you very much for your reply. I tried swtching the magenta drum, which I beleive is R3 (correct me if I'm wrong) with the cyan drum (R2), but immediately after the printer threw an error for the R3 drum and ceased all printing operation. I switched them back into their original positions hoping this would resolve the error, but the issue followed the drum back into the R2 position. The printer is telling me to contact Xerox support now.

Re: Xerox Workcenter 7970 Printing Yellow Streaks

Looks like the magenta drum, Cyan ,Yellow and Black all seem to still be transferring.

You can test this by swapping the magenta drum with another (Either C or Y) and the color drop should follow it

Xerox Workcenter 7970 Printing Yellow Streaks

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hey there Xerox fam,

One of the Workcenter 7970's in our office is acting up. When printing color documents to the printer, there is a yellow-tinted streak that appears in a number of places across the document. The location of the streaks are consistent and always close to the right edge of the page running vertically from top to bottom. They only seem to appear over areas of the image that are color.  None of the supplies are running low, and I have never encountered this issue before so I'm not sure where to start with the troubleshooting. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced.
