Do copies made from the scanner come out dark? If so it is a machine problem.
Scratch that, if you change the preferences in the PS driver you can lower the saturation if the color is too dark, or increase the lightness if everything is too dark. PCL driver has no color controls.
With a calibration done for print all you really have left besides a tech visit for a hardware caused issue, is to try the settings here in Properties > Services > Printing > Page Description Languages > Postscript.
Good Morning,
I submit the PDF file, the result is the same : too dark :(
maybe another version of firmware can correct this ? ( i Know how to downgrade with ALTBOOT method in case)
@ Fiery : Hello, thanks for your support. Yes I made a callibration.
Hi Joe,
ty for yur post, it's 7.30 pm here, I will test this tomorrow morning and I'll come back for retun.
Good night ( or day ^^ )
Go to CWIS and submit the pdf file that way using all default settings.
If it prints fine, the issue is Acrobat/Reader and would be solved via File > Print > Advanced and enable Let Printer Determine Color
Outside of PDF you would need to do some driver changes. Set Color Matching > In Printer
and Xerox Features > Color Options > Custom Color Options > Color Correction to None
If this part makes it work you would need to set it as the defaults in CUPS since Apple long ago decided you don't need to change printer defaults within the driver.
Hello Every1,
