Then it is likely to be the tray 1 lift sensor, likely you would need to call in a technician.

Xerox workcentre 6505 says Load tray 1 when tray 1 is full

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

The error readys "Tray 1 empty" when in fact the tray is full. The machine WILL print from bypass and Tray 2 but not Tray 1 because it reads that it is empty. I have tried realigning everything. I have tried restarted. I have tried unplugging to no avail. 

 

Please Help
