There are a few things that could be happening. You could have a genuine cartridge but not the right one for your region or it could be a metered cartridge for anon metereddevice or vice versa. I would recommend checking the part number off the old cartridge that was last known to work in yourdevice, andsee if that matches exactly the part number of the new cartridge.

Yellow Toner Cartidge NOT Recognized - Printer OFFLINE
Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10 x64
Inserted a new Yellow Toner cartridge unmetered by Limeink, which I have done 3-4 times before. I have two of these printers. Never an issue. Printer will not recognize the Yellow Cartridge. I have tried with two more yellow cartidges and still wont recognize.
Also, error is preventing me from using scanner or fax machine as well.
