Hello,
There are yellow dots all over my color documents (while the background is white).
Is there a setting to correct this problem?
Thank you

Hi,
Those yellow dots actually represent the serial number of the printer placed on each print in a certain algorithm. This happens to all Xerox color printers to identify which printer has made illegal prints. Of course, the dots should not be so obvious, but it also depends a lot on the quality of the paper. It would also be a good idea to upgrade the printer firmware.

Hello,
So, no way to remove these yellow dots? Or even to decrease them?
The firmware is up to date.
Also, what is the printer "Admin" password?

Hi,

As gabiene said , No way to remove these dots ; It present the Machine Identification Code
The firmware is up to date.
i don't think so since the latest one released in May
Also, what is the printer "Admin" password?
For software versions earlier than PL6 (XX.5X.XX), the default administrator password is 1111. For software versions PL6 (XX.5X.XX) or later, the default administrator password is the device serial number

Hi,
Starting with firmware version xx.61.01 the actual firmware file is encrypted. This was done to provide increased security for the VersaLink software. Devices with firmware versions xx.52.01 (PL6-R1) and older, cannot utilize an encrypted software file to perform a firmware upgrade. The xx.59.01 release can read the encrypted file and act as a bridge from the old version to the new version. A bridge* version must be installed before installing the encrypted file
And you will find the bridge software here
