Re: Zoom to fit after resetting Windows

Jump to solution

Mohammad, thank you!! It worked like a charm. Now I can use the printer again.

I'm just wondering why would Xerox remove the no-scale option.. It is really weird.

Have a great day!

Hi Kokesh

If you are using the V4 print driver im not sure if the scaling option will be available on it so try to unistall it and then isntall this V3 driver

Go to Settings >> Devices >> Printers & Scanners and follow the procedures

driver_install 1.png

driver_install 2.PNG

After you finish go to the document which you want to print on MS word and check the size of the document then go to file> print >printer properties  and check these settings

scale.png

Usually if you want to print a 100% as it should be on MS word then set the scale option to No scaling but make sure that the output paper should be equal or larger than the Original Document size to avoid any cutting

for examble

if the original size is A3 and the output size is A4 and the No scaling selected then it will cut the document

if the original size is A4 and the output size is A3 and the No scaling selected then it will print a 100% A4 document size on A3 sheet

it based on what Document orginal size you have and on which paper you want to print

Also note that the printer by default cut 4mm from the edges as a white border "can't avoid that "

Zoom to fit after resetting Windows

Jump to solution
Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10
I've had Windows problem, did PC reset. Downloaded latest Xerox Phaser 6510 driver. It has newer UI (blue design) and prints my pages scaled down and centered (zoom to fit?). Before this Word warned me about margins being too thin and possibility of parts of the print missing. Now it just scales down and prints.
I have lots of documents with product labels, brochures, etc., Which relies on very thin margins.
I print from Word, as I did before, with my correct margins set in the document.
Now everything gets printed smaller and centered, so for example only one middle round label fits onto the label sheet correctly.

Anyone has ideas what this could be? I suppose new drivers didn't remove ability to print with extremely small margins.
