I need to apply a Xerox 7835 printer configuration that allows me to select users who can print in color and those who can print in black and white.
I have several users in the "Device User Database" and in "User permissions" -> "User permission functions" ->"Connected users" create two groups, one without permissions to print in color and one with full printing permissions.
but the configuration does not work, apparently all users recognize them as "Unconnected users". I don't know what I'm missing to configure. I appreciate your help
Thank you for using the Support Forum. There are two methods of restricting color use. Please take a look at this solution for restricting color when using the Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA). There is also a solution for how to restrict color without enabling Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA).
