Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for the fault code 005-940. Also make sure you are following all the instructions for the color calibration. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

c405 Error message when color calibration 5-940

Product Name: VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Recently replaced 

Waste Cartridge

Black Toner cartridge

New drum set

All blacks are light grey. It does print black on the color test page however, I cannot get color to calibrate or register. Auto Color registration ends with an error but no code. Color calibration ends with a 5-940

I removed the transfer belt and cleaned the CTD sensor as well. Still fails.. I have reset the printer to factor and loaded latest firmware. I am running out of ideas. Any further suggestions?
