Yes, and those are driver issues, And in your case, the driver is totally irrelevant, because you can't ping the device. Which only happens when there is literally no connection of any kind. And since your coworkers can print, it means they have a physical connection to it still, and since you do not, and are using the same IP address, then something between you and the printer on the LAN is different than everyone else.
Either you are not trying to get to the same IP address as your co-workers or you are on a different network. There is nothing in Catalina that can stop you from using ping
I recent updated my Macbook to the newest Catalina OS and cannot print to my Xerox 7835. I actually cannot communicate with the copier at all -- can't ping it or see the remote UI. Others in my office can still print to it and can ping it just fine, it's just me having issues. Any suggestions?
