Thanks for your reply. 

Unfortunaltely it does not actually solve my problem. It may well be that I am being stupid here but let me explain.

I have printed all the reports from the menu, the only ones that might be suitable are the "ghosting print" or the "repeating defects" pages. 

The calibration sheet has colums of cyan, magenta, yellow, black and process gray printed in different saturations. It suggests that you fold the sheet and compare it to the "colour sample" and "perform colour correction accordingly". 

So where is the "colour sample" page. It is not in the reports menu as you suggest. 

It cannot be the repeating defects page as this prints out cyan, magenta, green and gray as whole sheets of A4. 

The ghosting print also doesn`t seem right as it does not print any yellow for comparison.

I have been through the setup menu and there appears to be no printable "colour sample" in the calibration menu.

My issue is that images are printing out very dark and I think there is too much cyan. Text is great and very crisp.

Your printer has a printable set of information pages. These include configuration and font information, demonstration pages, and more.

Printing Reports

1. At the control panel, press Menu.
2. Navigate to Print Reports, then press OK.
3. Navigate to the desired report, then press OK.
4. To print the report, at the prompt, press OK.
5. To return the printer to Ready, press Menu.

Hi 

I have just set up my printer and it seems to be printing fine the text is super crisp but it is printing images very dark.

I managed to print out the calibration chart with the computation table and the colour strips with grades of darkness.

It states to "compare this chart with the Colour sample and perform the colour correction accordingly". 

But what Colour sample is it referring to ? I cannot find it in the menu.

I have found the menu to adjust the values in the printers software but without a comparison I will just be adjusting it at random without some reference.

Any help appreciated.
