Then it would appear you are the first to report this, or the only one to have this issue.
You could try updating the firmware on the printer, although I don't see how it would affect the Mac that isn't there when the issue is.
Probably will need to escalate it to Xerox 2nd level support to verify and fix. If they can't replicate the issue, they will want to Altboot your device though
Hi Joe,
I've manually created a port using both IPP and LPD, i have not selected the printer from a list during install.
Are you picking the printer from the list during install or have you tried manually creating a port ala LPD or IPP?
We have a macbook pro running 10.12.6 and connected to an AltaLink C8070 with driver version 4.8.0
The problem is that when the laptop is off the same network as the copier the commandtoxbds process seems to become stuck and constantly eats away at system resources making the laptop very hot. When the user comes back to the same network it sometimes prints and sometimes doesn't.
I've reinstalled the driver and it appeared fine for about a week but the issue has popped up again. This is the only combonation we currently have as all our other copeirs are Workcentres and the macbooks connected to those don't appear to have the same problem. Any thoughts?
