A friend of mine that know about Crystal Reports told me that the reports that cause the error was made with Cristal Reports 16bits. The new ones made with Crystal Reports 32bits works fine.
Have anybody listened something like this?
Does 7120's driver work with 16bits applications?
I did not tell you that I am using the same machine but with different driver, with a generic PCL driver it works fine but with the Xerox WC7120 driver it does not work, I replace the crpe.dll and crpe32.dll but I could not register both it gave me an error.
I am going to try using the new Global Driver.
The software version of the machine is the last.

also xerox published a brand new global driver, since its a software issue, you can also try to update your driver ?
Have you updated the firmware on all of the WC7120's that you have installed for this customer? I believe that a new release came out shortly after the product was launched and you should definitely have that firmware loaded on these machines regardless of whether the Crystal Reports issue is resolved or not. You can download that firmware from here it is ver 71.13.41.
After upgrading the firmware on each device, you may consider reinstalling the Crystal Reports software - I think there may be some critical files that were not downloaded or they were corrupted by something. I don't know much about Crystal Reports but you may need to uninstall the current version completely and then reinstall it.
Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions. Maybe another Community Member that runs Crystal Reports will read this thread and be able to offer other suggestions!
Hi JohnM,
The problem is that customer's software only pop up the error when I make the 7120 default in Windows, but with another printer it works fine. :S I do not know what is the problem with the 7120's drivers....
I replaced the file but it does not work.
I am looking for your comments!!

Thank you for your reply John!!
I will download the file and do some test.
Hello lcordero22,
I did a quick search of the crpe.dll on Google.com and there are links to sites that you can download this file. It appears that your computer may be missing this file or that it got corrupted.
John
Hi,
Some of you know if Xerox Drivers need a specific version of Crystal Reports, because I am having problems with a customer where I have installed about ten WC7120. When customer try to print a report a window pop up with a message like this "Application error,RPTINV has caused a general protection error in module crpe.dll in 001C:2B7E. " "Chose Close" "RPTINV will close".
Pd. Sorry for my English and the message is in spanish I had to translate it.
