Re: docu 242 pulls more than 1 sheet at a time

I would have them come in and put it on the highest setting which should be ok for the other weights.

Re: docu 242 pulls more than 1 sheet at a time

Is there any documentation on these high, normal and low pressure settings because I use a wide variety of papers in my 252 bypass tray.?

And I always have problems with coated text and coated cover.

I can't call in a service tech each time I change paper.

Your help would be appreciated.

Re: docu 242 pulls more than 1 sheet at a time

Heavyweight gloss can stick together in humid or static conditions. Make sure the rollers in the tray 5 bypass are new. There is an adjustment in tray 5 for retard pressure. There are three settins for high, normal and low pressure that a service tech can adjust for you.

Hi tiporrapida,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Make sure that you have set the paper type for the tray correctly. Fan the paper, turn the stack over and try again.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

hello, I having problems with heavyweight paper, the docucolor pulls more than 1 sheet at a time, some times 1 and up to 5 sheets at a time, causing me problems specially when document is to print back and front, so I lose a lot of sheets because they stick each other and printed info scratches, I'v been tried already, to shake sheets before puting them in the entering tray, in fact in the bypass tray 5, I blow between  them while shuffling, I appreciate any help
