double font problem on phaser 7400

Does this problem occur if you select "Print as image" in the Adobe Reader printing options?

I am currently experiencing problems with my xerox phaser 7400. Each time I print something out of adobe reader xi 11 part of the text comes out double, like if had a shade. I am running windows 7 64 bits. I tried installing Postscript and PCL5 drivers but no luck. I was considering the possibility of a firmware update?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
