cop pasted from support site, can be helpfull?

Perform a Tray Alignment for the EFI Fiery Color Server
Tray Alignment is a feature that allows you to adjust small shifts that may occur during the printing process. Greater shifts should be addressed by a Service Technician.

NOTE: After a Tray Alignment has been performed, you must re-Raster Image Process (or re-RIP) any jobs at the Command WorkStation (CWS) that have previously been saved. Existing jobs that are re-rippped at the CWS allows the new alignment settings to be applied to the saved jobs. The Tray Alignment must be enabled in the Job Properties at the computer. Any new print jobs being submitted must have Tray Alignment enabled to take advantage of the tray alignment performed at the CWS.

From a Fiery Advanced Controller Interface (FACI) or computer with CWS installed:

Make sure that you are logged into the EFI Command WorkStation (CWS) application as an administrator. See the Related Content for additional information.
Make sure that the DocuColor is within the correct registration specifications by printing a test job.

NOTE: A test job (a job that has not been aligned) is any job sent from an application on your computer to verify the registration of the document is correct when you view it. After printing the test job, view it for alignment. If it is not properly aligned, continue with the steps in this solution.

Click on [Server] on the Menu bar, and then select [Align Trays] from the menu. The Paper Tray Alignment window will be displayed.
Select the tray to align from the Tray pull-down menu.
Select the paper size that is loaded in the tray from the Media Size pull-down menu.

NOTE: The Tray Alignment is specific to the combination of tray and paper (media) size. If you align Paper Tray 2 with Letter (216 x 279 mm / 8.5 x 11 in.) size paper and then load Legal (216 x 355 mm / 8.5 x 14 in.) size paper in the tray, the alignment will be invalid. A new Tray Alignment must be performed for each combination of tray and paper size.

In the Print Alignment Page section, click on the [Print Duplex] check box to print a two-sided (duplex) page (to align for two-sided printing). Select this option if the majority of the jobs printed are two-sided so that the alignment will be correct.
Click on the [Print] button. The Tray Alignment Page will be printed.
Retrieve the document from the printer and then follow the directions on the Tray Alignment Page as indicated on the page.
Fold the sheet in half horizontally, and then open the sheet.
Fold the sheet in half vertically, and then open the sheet again.
Determine where the folds cross each scale. Write each number in the box next to each scale.
Repeat the process for side 2 if this is for duplex alignment.
Enter the values from the page in the fields provided in the Enter Alignment Values section of the Paper Tray Alignment window. There are entry fields for A, B, and C for each side.
Click on [Apply] in Apply Alignment Values section.
Click on the [Check alignment] button in the same section to print another Alignment Test Page to confirm that the changes have been accepted.
Retrieve the second Alignment Test Page from the printer, and then follow the directions as indicated on the page.
Fold the sheet in half horizontally, and then open the sheet.
Fold the sheet in half vertically, and then open the sheet again.
Compare the fold lines with the printed lines. If the folds do not match the printed center lines, repeat the alignment procedure.

NOTE: To remove the alignments, select a tray and then click on [Defaults] in the Enter Alignment Values section.

Click on [Done] when finished.

NOTE: If the alignment results are not correct, repeat the steps starting with step 5.
To enable tray alignment in the print driver on the computer:

Open the file that will be using the paper tray that was just aligned.
Select [Print] from the File menu. The Print window will be displayed.
Select the required printer, and then click on the [Properties] button. The Preferences or Properties window will be displayed.
Click on the [Media] icon.
Select the paper tray from the Paper Source pull-down menu.
Click on the [Enable] radio button in the Tray Alignment section.
Click on [OK] to close the Properties window.
Click on [OK] again to print the job.

It sounds like something in the paper path might be causing it to skew.
