Since you are an anlyst, I am going to ask you about this small issue. I called help desk this morning and never heard back. On the HFSI status screen the color last week for the first time turned yellow. On Monday of this week it went red. All the HFSI are green. Why is this red now?
We are out here...I suspect trying to deal with the awful new rendition of FreeFlow.
This software is slow and unresponsive. We are now refreshing everytime we get back to the press, it helps a little but not much.
The idea that this is the "same" software as the previous version that we have on our iGen 150 is laughable.
There are bugs and interface issues that rear their ugly heads on a daily basis.
Don't get me wrong I am a fan of Xerox. I think their products are excellent their support second to none but this software does not live up to the Xerox name.
One of the things I have always admired about Xerox is that they address issues such as this and I can only hope that they do so quickly.
You would be better off calling Xerox and talking to the specialists, the iGen team is highly trained.
Today should be a good day to call too, it is really not busy due to the holiday (Assuming you are in the USA)
There is not much help on that PrintPlanet website either.
I guess I'll just have to start listing issues here on the Xerox support community and see what response I get.
Here is one, why does the iGen print a blue screen over the entire sheet from time to time. Usually only on one side?
