Re: network cannot find printer

Is there a way to manually enter this information in?

Yes

Did I purchase a lemon?

I'd sooner guess that the issue is there is no DHCP server or the printer is set to DHCP/Autonet, BOOTP, or RARP

.

network cannot find printer

Product Name: Phaser 7100
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

We just purchased a Phaser 7100 printer and it will not create an IP address. When I go to the network settings on the control panel of the printer and scroll through for IP address, it says it failed. It will not allow me to drill down on IPv4 and 6 settings. We tested the data cable and it works fine. The startup page shows the status as "obtaining IP address...". Is there a way to manually enter this information in? Did I purchase a lemon?
