Re: network printing not working

Hello RClark,

This is not a wireless printer, but I think you are wanting to add to the Network with an Ethernet cable. Windows 10 is not supported on this device so you will need to download the Global Print Driver to install the 6180 as a Network Printer.

Thanks,

network printing not working

Product Name: Phaser 6180
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi everyone!!  I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!

I am new to this forum and hoping to find help with my printer here.  I bought a phaser 6180 used and it has been working great as long as it is connected to the laptop via USB cable.

I want to connect to it wirelessly so the other PCs on the network will be able to use it.  I checked the settings and verified through the printout it shows it is setup using and assigned IP address I gave it. The gateway and Network mask address are also set correctly.  It even shopws the status as READY.  But when I try to ping that address it is not reachable.  So obviously the printer network card is not working properly.

Any suggestions how to fix?
